Westminster College will host three diverse local music groups this summer as part of the Excellence in the Community concert series. Excellence in the Community is a nonprofit organization independent from the cllege that helps promote Utah's many talented but often under-acclamined musicians.
On June 21 - The Corey Christiansen Quartet performed a wide range of jazz grooved and styles.
on July 19 - The Smith Brothers Dirt Band will keep the crowds entertained with country, bluegrass, folk and jug band music.
On Aug. 16 - The Jay Lawrence Quintet will treat their audience to an evening of jazz and romance.
